Prepared 8 November 2026 (Australia/Brisbane). Logan is a priority area. The Sunshine Coast pages remain.

The City of Logan

Logan City Council publishes the suburb list for the city, including the ten places on this page: Springwood, Daisy Hill, Shailer Park, Slacks Creek, Kingston, Woodridge, Browns Plains, Loganholme, Beenleigh and Underwood. The council also says floods are part of the environment of the Logan and Albert rivers and the creek catchments, and that flood risk differs by place. Use the Logan Flood Portal for a lot and the Disaster Dashboard during an event.

RoofMatch has no verified Logan price dataset. A Brisbane supplier range published on the cost guide is not a Logan quote.

Housing, without a fake citywide roof

Where the 2021 Census has a Suburbs and Localities table, the suburb page cites it. Daisy Hill, Shailer Park, Kingston, Browns Plains and Underwood each have a different dwelling mix. Springwood, Slacks Creek, Woodridge, Loganholme and Beenleigh do not get a neighbouring suburb’s percentages. The census does not record tile or metal.

Climate and storms

The Bureau of Meteorology identifies October to April as Queensland’s severe weather season. That is statewide seasonal context, not a warning that a storm will hit this suburb today. Check current Bureau warnings and the local disaster dashboard before you treat any checklist as urgent. Logan’s tools are the Flood Portal and the Disaster Dashboard. Moreton Bay has its own dashboard. Do not swap them.

What to check

  • Name the suburb, not only the postcode. Several of these suburbs share codes.
  • Ask for material, repairs, preparation and exclusions in writing.
  • Ask for the Flood Portal result for the address.
  • Use the quote checklist rather than a suburb average.
  • Call 000 in immediate danger and SES 132 500 for Queensland flood or storm assistance.

Suburbs on this site

  • Springwood — Springwood shares postcode 4127 with Daisy Hill and Slacks Creek. The shared code is not a shared roof.
  • Daisy Hill — Daisy Hill has a suburb-level census mix and a large conservation park. Neither one is a roof diagnosis.
  • Shailer Park — Shailer Park’s 2021 suburb census is mostly separate houses, with a higher flat share than its townhouse share.
  • Slacks Creek — Slacks Creek shares 4127 with Springwood and Daisy Hill, and it is the name of a waterway as well as a suburb.
  • Kingston — Kingston’s 2021 suburb census has a higher townhouse share than Shailer Park, in a different postcode.
  • Woodridge — Woodridge shares postcode 4114 with Kingston. This page does not borrow Kingston’s census.
  • Browns Plains — Browns Plains has its own 2021 suburb dwelling mix, with a higher townhouse share than Kingston.
  • Loganholme — Loganholme has its own postcode, 4129, between the Beenleigh and Shailer Park pages.
  • Beenleigh — Beenleigh is a City of Logan locality with state-listed St George’s Anglican Church on Main Street, and a shared postcode.
  • Underwood — Underwood’s 2021 suburb census is mostly separate houses, with few flats, in postcode 4119.
